0-12 weeks. We open books monthly to keep availability reasonable. We do not book more than 12 weeks out. We are not often able to take same day requests but same week is sometimes available. We are by appointment only unless we are doing a specially advertised walk-in flash day.
  • What do you mean by "Women+ Only"?
We mean that the majority of our clientele are female and prefer not to be tattooed under the male gaze. For this reason we have created a space of safety and consideration away from it. Similar to a gender specific change room in a clothing store, we are giving privacy to clients in a state of undress, vulnerability, and exposure. As for inclusion, we welcome all people who do not present as male and who feel called to a women's only setting. We aim to be as inclusive as possible of gender identities while maintaining our safe space. We have taken inspiration from several legal rulings in Washington State regarding inclusion and gender specific safe spaces in order to find our balance. There are many choices for excellent tattoos in our area and we will not be the right shop for every person. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Late arrivals
If you are 10+ late to your appointment you risk rescheduling and forfeit of deposit. We will do our best to be flexible but also book multiple clients each day. • How should I prepare for my tattoo?
Water, Water, Water- drink up a few days leading up to your appointment! hydrated bodies tattoo best! There are a few things to avoid- The sun, I cannot tattoo sunburned skin, active inflammation, rash, eczema, dermatitis or active wounds/ blemishes. 3 days before your tattoo, exfoliate your skin once, don’t exfoliate any closer to your appointment. Apply lotion twice daily to the area to be tattooed leading up to your appointment. Moisturized skin yields excellent results, dry uncared for skin is difficult to tattoo. Communicate with us first if you are considering a numbing cream please. It can warp the skin, cause a rash or a reaction and cause you to lose your deposit. We do have some products we can use during your tattoo if you become too uncomfortable. Do not drink alcohol for 24 hours before your tattoo. This can lead to greater bleeding, bruising and overall bad conditions. Clients showing up hung over or intoxicated will be turned away and forfeit deposit. Caffeine the morning of your tattoo can cause bleeding, or more bleeding than without. If you’re a bleeder when you get tattoos or scrapes, please dont have caffeine.
  • Aftercare
After your tattoo and until it heals (10-14 days), avoid the following: Submerging your tattoo in water (bath, dishes, etc), exposing your tattoo to bodies of water (pools, rivers, lakes), sun exposure, picking, scratching, and rubbing. Keep your tattoo clean, it is a wound that we do not want to become infected. AFTER APPOINTMENT Your tattoo will be covered with a healing stick-on bandage similar to Second Skin. This can be left on for 5 days. You may shower normally with this on but cannot submerge it under water. If the edges of this sticker peel up or expose the tattoo, remove the sticker and move on to the washing phase described below. Leaving the sticker on like this can trap bacteria under the sticker and lead to infection. Avoid sweating or exercising for as long as possible, up to 10 days. Remove the sticker gently on day 5 in or after a warm shower. Do not rip off like a band-aid, stretch the material against your skin each direction like a command strip removal. This stretches the material and breaks the adhesive apart. Wash your tattoo gently with antibacterial soap and pat dry. Apply a small amount of absorbable unscented lotion, coconut oil, or aftercare balm. Repeat the washing and moisturizing steps twice a day after removing your sticker until 10 days have passed since your appointment. Do not scratch or pick at your healing tattoo. Tattoos are fully healed at 4-6 weeks. Once fully healed, always apply SPF to your tattoo or avoid sun exposure to keep from fading. During healing, ink may spread under the bandage, this is normal, don’t freak out. Final results will not be clear until 4-6 weeks from your session.
  • Do I need a touchup?
You will know if you need a touch up by week 4-6. tattoos will fade slightly but if you are missing lines, or see inconsistent saturation please reach out for a touch up.
