Policies

All deposits are non-refundable. Any changes to appointments must be made 48+ hours in advance or your deposit will be forfeit. One reschedule per appointment is accepted with no fee if made 48+hours in advance. Booking and deposits are done with the individual artists.

If you are sick, please contact your artist. We may turn you away if you shows signs of illness, hangover, being high or drunk. 

What Forms of Payment Do you accept

CASH. Venmo or cards incur a 3% transaction fee.

We charge WA state sales tax to all services.

location and parking

We are located at 1104 Main st. We have an outside entrance beside the main building door with a lot of signage on our windows. Parking is a bit rough this summer with construction, I recommend coming down washington st and parking on side streets at 10th, 11th or 12th. There is paid parking through Parking Kitty app. We have a washroom in the main building and many restaurants within a few blocks if your apt includes a lunch break.

Guests

We ask that you leave guests at home unless specifically invited by your artist. This can eat up your appointment time, distract your artist and make the shop feel crowded. Trust your artist to be your best guide and help you manage any anxieties. We are an 18+ and women’s only space, please do not bring children under any circumstance. 

how to prepare for my tattoo

for 24 hours before:

  • Do Not: alcohol, caffeine, advil/tylenol

  • Do: sleep well, keep skin moisturized

Morning/ Day of:

  • Eat well- good fats and protein, bring a snack with you that has some sugar or carbs, hydrate well and plan to rest afterwards. Electrolytes are helpful. You can bring to your appointment a blanket, fidget toys, headphones, an audio book etc. to keep occupied. 

Touchups

Each artist has their own policy for touchups- please ask them directly.

Marina- All tattoos of 3 hours or more have a free touch up if needed within 6 months. All other cases will be $50 tray fee for a touch up. Please reply to your email chain with me to book.

Aftercare

You will go home with a clear medical bandage on your tattoo. This second skin protects your tattoo for 3-5 days. Shower normally while wearing it but avoid submerging in water or excessive sweating.

Remove it after 3-5 days in a warm shower, pulling it outwards parallel to the skin, not like a band-aid.

Wash your tattoo after removing twice a day with anti bacterial soap, pat dry, and moisturize with unscented lotion like ceravae or lubriderm etc. Do this until day 10 after your service.

Don’t stratch an itchy tattoo, tap or hit it. Be gentle and patient with your art, it will heal fully in 4-6 weeks. You will see various stages of healing before then so don’t worry until fully healed.

When healed use sunscreen to protect your investment.

Who can you NOT tattoo

We can NOT tattoo:

Anyone under 18 even with consent, Pregnant or breastfeeding, skin with any disturbance in placement area (sunburn, rash, acne, hives, eczema etc.), Sick clients, active cancer or chemotherapy, blood borne diseases (HIV, Hepatitis etc), Uncontrolled autoimmune disorders that affect skin healing, certain heart conditions or bleeding conditions. If you are unsure, reach out to your doctor and let your artist know, they will ask you for a doctors approval.
